Project Manager Payroll & Business Communication

Role Overview

We are looking for a Project Manager to lead payroll operations and drive business communication across internal teams and stakeholders. The role will ensure smooth payroll processing, compliance, and clear communication of policies, updates, and business initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

- Business Communication
- Develop and drive internal communication strategy for HR/payroll policies and business updates
- Create employee communications, leadership notes, emails, newsletters, and presentations
- Act as SPOC between payroll team and business stakeholders for any changes/rollouts

- Project Management
- Lead payroll system/process improvement projects and new implementations
- Track timelines, risks, and deliverables. Ensure on-time project execution
- Prepare MIS, dashboards,



and reports for management review
- Compliance & Stakeholder Management:
- Ensure adherence to labor laws, tax regulations, and company policies
- Build and maintain relationships with business heads, HRBPs, and external vendors

Required Skills

- 5+ Years in Payroll, HR Ops, or Project Management with exposure to payroll systems
- Strong knowledge of payroll compliance: PF, ESI, PT, TDS, LWF
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and HRMS/Payroll software
- Robust stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Good to Have: Experience in large workforce/retail/NBFC setup. Knowledge of business communication tools.
