Role Description As a Junior Software Engineer at grabdemo, you will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of features that power our SaaS distribution platform. On a day-to-day basis, you will write clean, well-documented code, collaborate with senior engineers on system architecture, and assist in implementing back-end services and APIs.

You will participate in code reviews, help debug and resolve technical issues, and work closely with product and design teams to refine requirements and deliver user-centered solutions. This is a full-time, remote role, offering flexibility while requiring reliable communication, proactive collaboration,



and a willingness to learn in a rapid-paced environment.

Qualifications

- Strong foundational knowledge in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles.
- Hands-on experience or coursework in Software Development and Programming, with familiarity in at least one modern programming language (e.g., JavaScript, Python, Java, or similar).
- Understanding of Back-End Web Development concepts, including RESTful APIs, databases, and server-side frameworks.
- Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and ability to apply them to real-world problems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Comfort working in a remote environment with robust communication, collaboration, and time management skills.
- Interest in SaaS products, start-up environments, and learning new tools, frameworks, and best practices.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and basic software testing practices is a plus.
