Summary:

The IT Junior Project Manager is responsible for all project management duties related to assigned software development, implementation, integration, systems, infrastructure, and business projects.

Job Duties

Primary Duties

- Manages and drives multiple IT projects across various disciplines with little support, to include software development, implementation, systems integration, infrastructure, and business, with minimal support from a more senior project manager.

- Leads end-to-end project activities including initiating, planning, executing, controlling, and closing, or agile scrum processes.

- Identifies and documents scope, schedule, resources, budget, hours, risks, issues, and requirements; Plans and facilitates project meetings.

- Monitors and controls day-to-day operational aspects of projects.

- Applies IT PMO processes, documentation, and methodology to enforce project quality, accuracy, and standards.

- Provides formal and informal project updates and reports; Provides formal updates to Executive-level management.

- Controls stakeholder communications and escalations.

- Collaborates with global and regional teams, vendors, and customers.

- Prepares statements of work and billing; Procures project resources and contracts.





- Other duties as required and assigned.

Requirements:

Education and Experience

- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field from a 4-year college or university preferred.

- Experience managing projects with end user hardware (routers, switches, APs, server upgrades, operating system upgrades, telephone system upgrades.

- Nice to have data center experience.

- Minimum 2 years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

- PMP or CAPM or CSM preferred.

- Proficient in managing software development, systems implementation, systems integration, and infrastructure projects in agile or waterfall.

- Proficient in planning and facilitating cross-functional technical meetings and workgroups effectively, to include internal and external customers.

- Proficient in creating technical flowcharts and other process diagrams.

- Advanced knowledge of technical and business terminology.

- Proficient in Office 365 products, including MS Project and Visio.

- Experience in logistics and supply chain preferred.
