Junior Finance Consultant

As a Junior Finance Consultant, you will participate in consulting engagements and assume responsibility for performing implementation tasks and producing quality deliverables. You will assist the Project Manager in organizing and controlling tasks within the project work plan while developing the ability to lead small project teams or engagements. You should be capable of working independently with clients on short-term engagements with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

- Serve as a key finance resource for implementing ERPNext solutions within customer organizations.
- Work closely with customers to facilitate ERP implementation, financial process improvements, and change management initiatives.
- Provide initial and in-depth issue resolution and functional support to customers.
- Assist customers with financial data migration and recommend accounting best practices.
- Prepare functional specifications for customizations, integrations, and reports.
- Perform testing, validation, and solution design for financial processes while ensuring appropriate controls across Finance, Inventory, and Manufacturing modules.
- Support customers in configuring and validating multi-currency accounting, including exchange rate management, foreign currency revaluation, and reporting.
- Assist in implementing and validating intercompany transactions, intercompany reconciliations, eliminations, and related financial processes across multiple legal entities.
- Participate in finance process reviews and support audit readiness by ensuring compliance with accounting standards, internal controls,



and documentation requirements.
- Establish priorities during client engagements and coordinate effectively with project team members and stakeholders.
- Communicate professionally with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Ensure timely submission of timesheets and project-related expenses in the project accounting system.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CMA, CA, CPA, CGA, or equivalent qualification is preferred.
- 1+ years of experience in Accounting, Finance, or ERP Finance Consulting.
- Experience in financial process improvement, including month-end close, financial consolidations, accruals, sub-ledger reconciliations, financial reporting, budgeting, planning, and forecasting.
- Hands-on experience with multi-currency accounting transactions, foreign exchange adjustments, and currency revaluation processes.
- Experience handling intercompany accounting transactions, intercompany reconciliations, and multi-company financial operations.
- Exposure to internal or external auditing, audit support activities, financial controls, compliance, and documentation.
- Prior experience working with accounting software or ERP systems is mandatory.
- ERP Financial Implementation experience (preferably full-cycle ERP implementation) is an added advantage.
- Experience assisting customers in implementing accounting best practices and standardized financial processes.
- Solid analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Willingness to learn ERPNext and participate in client-facing implementation projects.
