Education: Diploma in Mechanical / Mechatronics / Industrial Engineering (ITI or equivalent may also apply).

Role Overview:

This role will be responsible to assist in operating and maintaining semi-automatic machines on the production floor. It involves understanding machine processes, supporting troubleshooting activities, monitoring production output, and ensuring smooth day-to-day machine performance. The individual will work closely with supervisors, operators, and maintenance teams to ensure targets are met efficiently and safely.

Duties and Responsibilities :

1. Machine Operation & Support

- Learn and understand machine operations and handling procedures.
- Operate semi-automatic machines under supervision and ensure correct settings (including PLC adjustments where applicable).
- Identify and resolve minor issues encountered by workers before escalating to vendors or senior engineers.
- Maintain vigilance on machine condition and assist in regular maintenance checks.
- Support preventive maintenance and ensure proper upkeep of tools and equipment.

Production Monitoring

- Monitor daily output from semi-automatic machines and report deviations.
- Ensure raw materials are available as per production plans.
- Coordinate with supervisors and workers to achieve daily production targets.
- Maintain basic production and downtime records for review.

1. Training & Coordination

- Attend supplier demonstrations to learn machine operation and troubleshooting methods.
- Support in training and guiding operators and helpers on machine handling and safety.
- Communicate technical instructions clearly to the production team.
