Role Description The Jnr Accountant role is a contract, on-site position based in Bengaluru. This role involves assisting with day-to-day accounting operations, including recording financial transactions, maintaining ledgers, and supporting accounts payable and receivable activities.

Accountant will help prepare invoices, process payments, reconcile bank statements, and assist with month-end closing tasks. They will support the preparation of basic financial reports, ensure documentation is accurate and organized, and coordinate with internal teams and vendors on finance-related queries.



The role also includes maintaining compliance with internal policies and relevant accounting standards while supporting the senior finance team as needed.

Qualifications

- Foundational accounting knowledge, including understanding of double-entry bookkeeping, ledgers, and basic financial statements.
- Proficiency in accounting or ERP software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho, or similar) and strong skills in Microsoft Excel and other Office tools.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry, reconciliation, and documentation, with strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills to interact with internal teams, vendors, and external partners in a professional manner.
- Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru, collaborate within a team, and adapt to a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
- Educational background in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field (e.g., B.Com or equivalent qualification); internship or prior junior accounting experience is an advantage.
- Understanding of basic tax concepts, vendor payments, and compliance processes related to Indian accounting and regulatory frameworks is beneficial.
