About The Role The Associate Architect - Java at Quantiphi is a critical role designed for experienced professionals who possess a strong background in enterprise Java applications, modernization, and cloud integration. This position involves engaging directly with clients to understand their technical requirements, providing consultation, and overseeing the implementation of scalable, secure, and efficient software solutions.

The role requires a blend of technical expertise and leadership skills to guide development teams, ensure adherence to best practices, and deliver high-quality results. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the entire software development lifecycle, from design and development to deployment and maintenance, with a focus on enterprise-level web applications and microservices architecture. Qualifications The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 7-12 years of experience in Java application development and modernization. A strong educational background in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields is preferred.

Candidates must have hands-on experience with enterprise Java frameworks such as J2EE and Spring Boot, along with proficiency in API integration, cloud architecture, and application security. Expertise in working with version control tools like Git,



build tools like Maven, and artifact management with JFrog is essential. A solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles, testing methodologies including unit and integration testing, and Agile development practices is required.

Experience with microservices architecture, REST and SOAP APIs, and database management using SQL or NoSQL databases is also necessary. Familiarity with AWS services, cloud deployment, and automated code modernization tools such as AWS Transform Custom (ATX) will be considered advantageous. Candidates should demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills, the ability to analyze architecture requirements, and solid communication skills to collaborate effectively within distributed teams.

Responsibilities The Associate Architect will be responsible for establishing strong communication channels with clients for project briefing, consultation, installation, and project close-out reviews. They will support the design, development, enhancement, and modernization of enterprise Java applications, ensuring alignment with client needs and industry best practices.

The role involves managing customer expectations, negotiating project demands, and creating comprehensive technical documentation. Supervising activities between internal teams and external resources is crucial to facilitate smooth workflow and timely delivery of services. The candidate will evaluate project data for accuracy, set project goals, and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines efficiently.

Mentoring and training team members to enhance their technical skills and project contributions is a key aspect of the role. Staying updated with current industry trends, emerging technologies, and best coding practices is essential to maintain high service standards.
