Business Unit Overview

Working as a full-time IT QA Engineer, you will be responsible for independently owning feature-level testing across web applications, REST APIs, and mobile devices with growing domain understanding, while aligning test coverage to functional and business requirements. This role focuses on designing effective test cases, executing functional, regression, API, and mobile device testing, owning the defect lifecycle end-to-end, and contributing to automation design, execution, and maintenance for stable test coverage.





Responsibilities The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

- Develop and maintain comprehensive test scenarios, test cases, and test strategies for assigned features and modules - Analyze and review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide actionable feedback and accurate estimates - Perform functional and regression testing independently for assigned modules with high quality - Conduct basic API testing using tools such as Postman to validate web services and REST APIs - Perform mobile device testing across supported devices, operating systems, browsers, and screen resolutions to validate usability, compatibility, and functional behavior - Own the defect lifecycle end-to-end including logging, tracking, retesting, and closure - Coordinate and prioritize testing activities with scrum/Kanban teams to meet sprint deliverables - Execute sanity, regression, SIT, and UAT tests across multiple environments as required - Design, develop, execute, and maintain automation test scenarios for stable functional, regression, API, and mobile coverage with guidance from senior team members - Execute, analyze, and troubleshoot automated test runs and validate results to support reliable sprint and regression execution - Apply testing processes within Agile, Scrum,



or Kanban frameworks effectively - Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders with good communication to achieve team goals and objectives - Assist development teams in debugging by capturing events and pinpointing issues - Maintain test artifacts using test management tools and ensure traceability - Stay up-to-date with current testing tools and techniques and adopt innovative test strategies as needed - Ensure adherence to organizational policies and governance Required Position Qualifications - Full-time bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field - 35 years of experience in software testing or related IT disciplines - Strong experience in functional and non-functional testing methodologies - Experience in test case design, functional testing, and data validation - Proficiency in SQL for data integration and backend testing - Experience with web application and REST API testing - Experience in mobile device testing across Android and iOS platforms, including compatibility, usability, and functional validation - Hands-on experience with test automation tools or frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, Katalon, Appium, or equivalent - Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills - Ability to work on multiple assignments simultaneously and produce high-quality deliverables - Ability to work independently and as part of a team Preferred Position Qualifications - Experience with Agile/Scrum/Kanban frameworks - Hands-on exposure to testing tools like JIRA, Confluence, Qmetry, or equivalent - Exposure to advanced automation practices, framework design, CI/CD integration, or mobile automation using tools such as Playwright, Selenium, Katalon, Appium, or equivalent - Experience in eCommerce, BI, or ERP domain testing is a plus - Growth mindset and continuous improvement focus .
