CARIAD is working intensively on the software and technology platform for Premium Platform Electric (PPE). The first vehicles based on PPE will be the electric Porsche Macan and Audi Q6 e-tron. E stands for end to end electronics architecture. The new software and technology platform is built from scratch and will be used first at the end of 2024 in Artemis,

About our Group CARIAD COE (Centre of Excellence) is setup in Bangalore, India working exclusively with CARIAD and associated VW groups with the focus on development of VW.OS. The areas of work involve development of platform components such as firmware, boot loaders, AUTOSAR, Linux/QNX BSP, Service oriented architecture-based middleware components.

: Job Role: Senior Technical Lead/Architect Experience Level : 9 to 12 years Key Responsibilities Lead the design, development, and maintenance of highperformance C applications for embedded and Linux-based systems. Write clean, efficient, and testable C code (C 11/14/17) and demonstrate strong coding capability during technical interviews. Develop comprehensive unit tests using GTest and ensure high code quality through tools such as SonarQube.

Manage and integrate thirdparty dependencies using Conan, and maintain robust build workflows using CMake. Debug complex issues using gdb, Linux system tools, and lowlevel diagnostics. Create and maintain shell scripts for automation, integration, and development workflows.

Collaborate with crossfunctional engineering teams to define architecture and produce clear design documentation using PlantUML. Apply containerization best practices (Docker, Podman) for streamlined development, testing,



and deployment environments. Optimize multithreaded and concurrent applications for reliability, scalability, and realtime performance.

Produce clear and structured technical documentation, including design details, workflows, and architectural decisions.

Required Skills Expert-level proficiency in contemporary C (C 11/14/17) with strong handson coding experience. Proficiency with GTest, SonarQube, Conan, Shell Scripting, CMake, and gdb. Strong understanding of Linux CLI, system programming, and embedded software concepts. Working knowledge of containerization using Docker and/or Podman. Deep understanding of multithreading, concurrency patterns, and synchronization mechanisms.

Experience creating and maintaining architecture/design diagrams using PlantUML.

Good to have: familiarity with MQTT protocols and Cloud technologies. Currently working as a Product Owner (PO) in a SAFe environment while maintaining strong handson coding expertise. Must be willing to write code as part of the interview process.

Preferred Qualifications Experience in automotive software development or related safetycritical domains. Knowledge of Adaptive AUTOSAR frameworks and tools. Exposure to IoT ecosystems, protocols, and cloud connectivity.

Familiarity with Agile methodologies, SAFe principles, and DevOps practices. Strong problemsolving skills, analytical thinking, and excellent communication abilities.
