About Us

Verritas is a 25-year-old furniture manufacturing group with brands including Grosch, Covelli, Incasa, Varioform, and Element, supplying OEM partners such as Royal Oak, Godrej, Sleepyhead/Duroflex, and Urban Ladder across six states. We're looking for an Inventory Manager to oversee inventory operations at our Kolkata facility.

Role Overview

You'll own end-to-end inventory management at the Kolkata plant — raw materials (timber, foam, fabric, PSF, hardware), WIP, and finished goods — ensuring stock accuracy, minimizing overstock/stockouts, and supporting smooth production and dispatch across our dealer and OEM network.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage raw material inventory across timber, foam, fabric, PSF, and hardware categories
- Maintain accurate stock records through cycle counts, physical audits, and system reconciliation
- Coordinate with procurement, production planning, and logistics/dispatch teams to align stock levels with production and order schedules
- Optimize warehouse/store layout and material flow to reduce handling time and losses
- Analyze inventory data to flag overstock, slow-moving SKUs, and working capital tie-ups
- Manage inbound material receipts,



quality checks at intake, and vendor return processes
- Maintain and improve inventory tracking in ERP/inventory software
- Support finished goods stock planning across five sub-brands and OEM client requirements (Royal Oak, Godrej, Sleepyhead/Duroflex, Urban Ladder)
- Report inventory KPIs (turnover, carrying cost, stockout/overstock rate) to management

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Commerce, or related field
- 3–7 years of experience in inventory/warehouse management, preferably in furniture, manufacturing, or FMCG
- Hands-on experience with ERP/inventory software (Tally, SAP, Zoho Inventory, or similar) and solid Excel skills
- Familiarity with furniture raw materials (timber, foam, fabric) is a plus
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work cross-functionally with procurement and production teams
