Job Title: Inventory & Dispatch Manager (Packaging Unit)

Location: Ichhapore, Surat

Role Overview

Manage finished goods and raw material inventory, plan and execute dispatches, and coordinate with production, sales, and transport partners to ensure timely and accurate deliveries to textile and saree manufacturers.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain accurate records of raw materials and finished goods inventory (physical vs system).
- Ensure Min-Max level is set for every SKU for smooth supply in the production process.
- Monitor inward and outward stock movement, report shortages or variances.
- Conduct periodic physical stock counts and reconcile with system records.
- Coordinate with production supervisor to align production output with dispatch schedules.
- Plan daily/weekly dispatches based on customer priorities and promised delivery dates.
- Work closely with Sales Co-ordinator to align dispatch with customer expectations.
- Identify multiple transportation vendors and negotiate best possible logistics cost every time and ensure timely pick up and drop.
- Arrange transport, prepare loading plans,



and coordinate with drivers/transporters.
- Ensure correct packing, labeling, and documentation for each dispatch.
- Prepare daily dispatch reports and submit it to the Factory Manager.
- Maintain clean and organized stores and dispatch area.

Requirements

- 2-8 years of experience in inventory/stores/dispatch management in manufacturing, packaging, textile, or trading setups.
- Strong understanding of stock control and dispatch processes.
- Working knowledge of Tally/ERP and Excel for inventory records.
- Positive coordination and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.

Tools & Software

- Tally or similar ERP, Excel, dispatch registers, transporter contacts.

Reporting

- Reports to Factory Manager or the Management.

Key Performance Indicators

- Stock accuracy (physical vs system).
- On-time dispatch percentage.
- Dispatch error and damage rate.
- Inventory variance and wastage levels.
