Job Summary

We are seeking a talented InterSystems Developer with 2–4 years of hands-on experience in InterSystems Ensemble and InterSystems IRIS to join our remote team. The ideal candidate will have experience developing, maintaining, and supporting healthcare integration solutions using InterSystems technologies. This role requires strong technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, and maintain integration solutions using InterSystems Ensemble and InterSystems IRIS.
- Develop and support HL7 interfaces, healthcare integrations, and interoperability solutions.
- Create and maintain Business Services, Business Processes, Business Operations, and Routing Rules.
- Develop applications using ObjectScript.
- Build and consume RESTful APIs, SOAP Web Services, and other integration interfaces.
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.
- Monitor interface performance and optimize system reliability.
- Collaborate with business analysts, architects, QA teams, and stakeholders to gather and implement requirements.
- Participate in code reviews and follow development best practices.
- Prepare technical documentation and deployment guides.
- Ensure compliance with security, quality, and healthcare integration standards.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.




- 2–4 years of experience with InterSystems Ensemble and InterSystems IRIS.
- Strong experience with InterSystems ObjectScript.
- Experience developing and supporting HL7 v2.x interfaces.
- Knowledge of REST APIs, SOAP Web Services, XML, and JSON.
- Good understanding of SQL and relational databases.
- Experience troubleshooting integration and production issues.
- Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.
- Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with InterSystems Health Connect.
- Knowledge of FHIR, CDA, or X12 healthcare standards.
- Experience integrating with EHR/EMR systems such as Epic, Cerner, Meditech, or Allscripts.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Exposure to AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- InterSystems certification is a plus.
