Role Description The Interior Designer will work full time on-site at Koncept Interior’s Ahmedabad studio, collaborating with the team to design and execute interior spaces for residential, commercial, and institutional projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing design concepts, preparing layouts and mood boards, selecting materials and finishes, and coordinating FF&E; (furniture, fixtures, and equipment). The role involves creating and reviewing construction drawings, working with architects and contractors, and conducting site visits to monitor progress and quality.

Designer will participate in client meetings, present design proposals, incorporate feedback, and ensure that designs align with project timelines, budgets, and functional requirements.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong Space Planning and Interior Design skills to create functional, aesthetically cohesive environments.

Candidates should possess Architecture and Construction Drawings skills to translate concepts into transparent technical documentation and support on-site execution.

Candidates should possess FF&E; expertise to select appropriate furniture, fixtures, and equipment that align with design intent and budget.

Candidates should have proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and be comfortable with basic 3D visualization tools.

Candidates should demonstrate good communication and presentation skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, contractors, and vendors.

A diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, along with prior experience in interior projects, is highly beneficial.
