Bariatu, Ranchi – 834009, Jharkhand, India Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Intensivist & Anaesthetist role based in Dhanbad. The professional in this position will manage patients in the intensive care unit, including assessment, stabilization, and ongoing critical care, while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing pre-operative evaluations, administering anesthesia for surgical and diagnostic procedures, monitoring patients intraoperatively, and overseeing post-anesthesia recovery.

The role also involves developing and implementing treatment plans, supervising junior clinical staff, participating in clinical audits,



and contributing to protocols that enhance patient safety and outcomes. Participation in on-call duties, emergency resuscitations, and regular case discussions is expected. Qualifications

Strong foundation in Medicine, with the ability to assess, diagnose, and manage complex medical conditions in critically ill patients.

Advanced competency in Anesthesiology, including pre-operative assessment, intraoperative management, and post-operative pain and recovery care.

Expertise in Critical Care Medicine, with experience in ventilator management, hemodynamic monitoring, and life-support interventions.

Understanding of Pulmonology and respiratory care relevant to ICU settings, including management of acute and chronic respiratory failure.

Ability to collaborate effectively with Critical Care Nursing teams, ensuring coordinated and safe patient management.

Postgraduate qualification MD in Anesthesiology, Critical Care Medicine, or a related specialty; valid medical registration with relevant authorities.

Demonstrated experience in ICU and operating theatre environments, including emergency and trauma care.

Strong communication, decision-making, and crisis management skills, with commitment to ethical, patient-centered practice.

Willingness to participate in continued medical education, training activities, and quality improvement initiatives.
