Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for an Instrumentation and Control Engineer based in Karvetinagar. The engineer will design, implement, and maintain control and instrumentation systems for industrial and infrastructure projects, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient operation of processes and equipment.

Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and reviewing control system layouts, instrument datasheets, and wiring diagrams; selecting and specifying instruments and control devices; and coordinating with electrical, mechanical, and process engineering teams. The role involves calibrating and testing instruments, troubleshooting control system issues, supporting commissioning and start-up activities, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards, safety practices,



and environmental regulations. The engineer will also collaborate with project managers, vendors, and site teams to support timely execution and continuous improvement of control and instrumentation solutions.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess robust skills in Control Engineering and Process Control to design, analyze, and optimize industrial control systems.
- Candidates should possess skills in Control Systems Design and Instrumentation for selecting, configuring, and integrating field instruments and control hardware.
- Candidates should possess a solid foundation in Electrical Engineering to interpret electrical drawings and ensure proper interface between control systems and power systems.
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Instrumentation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Instrumentation, or a related discipline.
- Experience with PLCs, DCS, SCADA systems, and related programming and configuration tools.
- Knowledge of relevant industrial standards, safety practices, and hazardous area classifications.
- Ability to read and develop P&IDs;, loop diagrams, and control logic narratives.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary project teams on-site.
- Good communication and documentation skills to coordinate with stakeholders and prepare technical reports.
- Previous experience in large infrastructure, process industries, or power projects is an added advantage.
