Instructors work directly with participants to create a safe, fun, and engaging environment while leading activities, encouraging participation, and serving as positive role models.

Responsibilities include supervising participants, assisting with games and activities, maintaining a safe program environment, helping with setup and cleanup, attending staff training, and working as part of a team to provide a high-quality recreation experience. This position works afternoons, evenings, and weekends, depending on schedule and availability. Hours are flexible, up to 19 per week.

Requirements Must be at least 16 years of age.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Enjoys working with children and participants of all ages.

Positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a willingness to learn.

Has or will obtain CPR/FA certification.

Compensation This position is Grade 1 of the Town’s Part Time-Pay Plan with an hourly range of $15.00 to $15.92 based upon qualifications and experience.
