We are looking for an experienced Informatica MDM QA/Test Engineer to ensure the quality, accuracy, and reliability of enterprise Master Data Management (MDM) solutions. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Informatica MDM testing, data validation, SQL, ETL testing, and Agile methodologies. The role involves validating data quality, business rules, integration workflows, and end-to-end MDM processes while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Informatica MDM applications.

- Perform Functional, Integration, System, Regression, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

- Validate Master Data, matching & merging rules, survivorship rules, hierarchies, and business validations.

- Verify data consistency, accuracy, and synchronization between source systems and the Informatica MDM Hub.

- Perform backend data validation using SQL.

- Test ETL/Data Integration workflows and data quality rules.

- Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects using defect management tools such as JIRA, ALM, or Azure DevOps.

- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, Data Architects, and Product Owners to understand business requirements and create effective test scenarios.

- Participate in Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Reviews, and Retrospectives.

- Maintain test documentation, requirement traceability,



and test execution reports.

- Support UAT activities and prepare test evidence/documentation.

- Recommend improvements in testing processes and identify automation opportunities.

Required Skills

- Strong experience in Informatica MDM Testing.

- Hands-on experience with Functional, Regression, System, Integration, and UAT Testing.

- Good knowledge of SQL for backend data validation.

- Experience in ETL/Data Warehouse Testing.

- Understanding of Master Data Management concepts.

- Knowledge of Data Quality, Data Governance, Matching & Merging, Survivorship Rules.

- Experience with defect management tools such as JIRA, HP ALM, Azure DevOps.

- Robust analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with Informatica Data Quality (IDQ).

- Knowledge of Informatica PowerCenter or Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS).

- Basic understanding of API testing.

- Exposure to Test Automation (Selenium, Tosca, or similar tools) is an added advantage.

Education

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
