IR & HR Manager / Deputy Manager | Chennai

? Location: Chennai (Ulundhai)

? Reporting To: Head – HR & IR

Eligibility:

? MBA/MSW in HR, Personnel Management or Industrial Relations (LLB preferred)

? 8–12 years of experience with at least 5 years in Manufacturing, Engineering, Automotive or FMCG

?️ Fluent in English & Tamil (Mandatory)

? MS Office Suite proficiency; SAP, Oracle or Workday exposure is an added advantage

Hands-on experience with unions, collective bargaining, disciplinary enquiries, labour law compliance, and statutory inspections.

Additional certification in Labour Laws or Industrial Relations is desirable.

Ability to prepare reports, analyze data, and develop presentations using Microsoft Office applications.

We're looking for an experienced HR & Industrial Relations professional to join a leading manufacturing organization and lead Industrial Relations (70%) and Core HR Operations (30%) .

Key Responsibilities:

✅ Lead union relations, collective bargaining & wage settlements

✅ Ensure compliance with Labour Codes, statutory regulations & audits





✅ Handle disciplinary proceedings & domestic enquiries

✅ Manage contract labour compliance and legal requirements

✅ Drive employee engagement, performance management & learning initiatives

✅ Represent management before labour authorities, courts & tribunals
