Roles and Responsibility
- Prepare and cook a range of Indian dishes, including curries, biryanis, and tandoori items.
- Maintain high levels of cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen area.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service.
- Develop current recipes and menus to keep culinary offerings fresh.
- Ensure all food is prepared according to company standards and recipes.
- Maintain inventory of spices, herbs, and other ingredients used in Indian cuisine.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience as an Indian cook or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Indian cooking techniques, ingredients, and menu planning.
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and appliances.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
