Role Overview: The In-Charge Store (CRSD) is responsible for managing end-to-end store operations including receipt, storage, preservation, issuance and inventory control of raw materials, process consumables, maintenance spares, packing materials and finished goods while ensuring inventory accuracy, material traceability and effective material flow to support uninterrupted plant operations.

Key Deliverables:

- Lead day-to-day store operations for raw materials, process consumables, maintenance spares, packing materials, general store items and finished goods, ensuring smooth material flow across the CRSD plant.

- Oversee receipt, unloading, verification and storage of incoming materials including HR Coils, consumables, spares and other purchased items in accordance with established procedures.

- Monitor and ensure proper storage, preservation, identification, indexing, colour coding and traceability of all materials while adhering to FIFO principles and inventory control practices.

- Manage and monitor timely issuance of raw materials, consumables, spares and packing materials to Production and other departments while maintaining accurate inventory records.

- Maintain inventory accuracy through stock monitoring, leading periodic stock audits, inventory reviews and ageing analysis while ensuring timely resolution of inventory variances and obsolete or slow-moving stock issues.

- Coordinate with Purchase, Quality, Production, PPC and Logistics teams for material receipt, quality clearance, stock transfers, inventory reconciliation and operational requirements.





- Ensure proper work allocation and discipline amongst store operations team; adherence with store SOPs, material handling standards, safety requirements, 5S practices and housekeeping norms across the store area.

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in store operations to enhance inventory accuracy, material traceability, storage utilization and operational efficiency.

- Ensure accurate SAP transactions, maintenance of stock registers, inventory records and related store documentation for all material movements and inventory activities.

- Prepare and submit inventory MIS, stock statements, ageing reports, inventory analysis and other store performance reports for management review and decision-making.

Candidate Specification (From Hiring Perspective):

- Any Graduate with Diploma/ Certificate in Warehouse/ Inventory Management is preferred.

- 8-10 years of experience with team handling exposure in Store Operations, Inventory Management or Warehouse Management within steel, metals, manufacturing or process industries.

- Good understanding and experience in inventory control, material handling & reconciliation, FIFO management, warehouse safety and store operations, store related documentation and inter-departmental coordination.

- Good working exposure in SAP, MS Excel, inventory documentation, stock reporting and material tracking systems.
