IBM Sterling B2B Integrator Developer / Integration Specialist – Position: IBM Sterling B2B Integrator Developer

Experience: 6+ Years

Location: Pune (Hybrid /Onsite)

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced IBM Sterling B2B Integrator (B2Bi) professional to design, develop, support, and maintain enterprise B2B/EDI integrations. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with IBM Sterling Integrator, knowledge of IBM MQ, knowledge of IBM ACE (App Connect Enterprise), and basic exposure to Azure cloud services.

Required Skills IBM Sterling B2B Integrator (Must Have)

- Experience with IBM Sterling B2B Integrator (B2Bi) development and support.
- Sterling admin knowledge/upgrade/transformation must have skill
- Knowledge of EDI standards such as X12, EDIFACT, XML, and Flat Files.
- Valuable experience with XSLT transformation.
- Must have good knowledge of mapping specifications
- Development of Sterling Maps and Business Processes (BPML).
- Trading Partner onboarding and configuration.

- Experience with communication protocols

- AS2

- SFTP/FTP

- HTTP/HTTPS
- MQ
- Monitoring, troubleshooting, and production support.
- Understanding of security concepts such as PGP, SSL certificates, and encryption.

IBM MQ (Must Have)

- Basic knowledge of IBM MQ concepts and messaging architecture.
- Understanding of queue managers, queues, channels, and message flow.
- Exposure to MQ-based integrations and asynchronous messaging patterns.




- Ability to work with MQ connectivity in Sterling and ACE environments.

IBM ACE / MQ (Good to Have)

- Understanding of IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE) architecture.
- Basic knowledge of message flows, message transformation, and routing.
- Understanding of enterprise integration patterns.

Azure Cloud (Good to Have)

- Basic understanding of Azure services such as:

- Azure Storage Accounts

- Azure Service Bus

- Azure Functions

- Azure Monitor
- Knowledge of deployment concepts and hybrid integration architecture.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain B2B integrations using IBM Sterling B2Bi.
- Develop and support EDI maps, business processes, and partner onboarding activities.
- Integrate Sterling with ERP, API, and cloud-based systems.
- Support REST/SOAP APIs and file-based integrations.
- Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and external partners.
- Participate in deployment, testing, and release activities.
- Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.
- Good understanding of EDI/B2B integration concepts.
- Knowledge of Database eg. SQL server etc.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, Git, and Agile methodologies.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
