Role Description IB/IGCSE Teachers at THE.EXCITED.STATES deliver engaging online lessons to students following IB and IGCSE curricula in a part-time, remote capacity. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and conducting live virtual classes, preparing lesson materials aligned with curriculum requirements, and adapting teaching methods to support diverse learning needs.

Teachers are expected to assign and review homework, provide timely feedback, and monitor student progress to help learners achieve academic goals. The role also involves maintaining explicit communication with students and, when needed, with parents or guardians, while using digital tools such as pen-tabs, laptops, and online platforms to ensure smooth and interactive sessions. Scheduling is flexible and based on subject demand, with ongoing coordination with the institute for class timings and reporting.

Qualifications

- Strong Teaching and Education skills, with demonstrated experience in instructing IB / IGCSE curricula.
- Proficiency in Lesson Planning and Training, including designing structured, outcome-focused online lessons.
- Excellent Communication skills for clear explanations, student engagement, and professional interaction with families.
- B.Tech or postgraduate degree in a relevant subject area; formal teacher training, or education certification is an advantage.
- Prior experience teaching online or in international curricula (IB, IGCSE) is highly beneficial. School Teaching experience is an advantage.
- Reliable laptop, pen-tab, and high-speed internet connection to conduct virtual classes effectively.
- Ability to manage part-time, remote teaching schedules and maintain professionalism in all interactions.
