Position Overview The Human Resource Executive will be responsible for managing end-to-end HR operations at the manufacturing plant, including recruitment, payroll coordination, employee engagement, statutory compliance, manpower planning, grievance handling, and employee development. The ideal candidate should possess robust interpersonal skills, sound knowledge of labour laws, and prior experience in handling large manufacturing workforces.
Key ResponsibilitiesRecruitment & Talent Acquisition
Manage the complete recruitment cycle for permanent employees, contractual staff, and shop-floor workers.
Coordinate with manpower agencies and departmental heads to ensure timely fulfilment of manpower requirements.
Conduct preliminary interviews, coordinate final interviews, and facilitate employee onboarding.
Employee Onboarding & Induction
Conduct induction programmes for all new employees.
Explain company policies, HR procedures, safety guidelines, disciplinary rules, and workplace ethics.
Organize soft skills and behavioural training sessions for workers and staff.
Payroll & Attendance Management
Maintain employee attendance records and shift schedules.
Coordinate and process monthly payroll accurately and within timelines.
Verify attendance, overtime, leave records, and statutory deductions before payroll processing.
Liaise with Finance and Payroll teams for salary processing and employee reimbursements.
Manpower Planning & Duty Rosters
Prepare and maintain daily and monthly duty rosters for production, housekeeping, security, maintenance, and other operational departments.
Ensure optimum manpower deployment based on production requirements and shift planning.
Employee Relations & Grievance Handling
Address employee grievances promptly and professionally.
Resolve workplace disputes and maintain harmonious industrial relations.
Counsel employees and supervisors on workplace discipline and behavioural issues.
Coordinate disciplinary proceedings whenever required.
POSH & Workplace Ethics
Ensure compliance with the Prevention of Sexual Harassment (POSH) Act.
Support the Internal Committee (IC) in maintaining POSH compliance.
Conduct awareness programmes and sensitization sessions for employees.
HR Compliance
Maintain employee personnel files and HR documentation.
Support statutory compliance related to labour laws, Shops & Establishments Act, Factory Act, ESI, PF, Bonus, Gratuity, and other applicable regulations.
Coordinate with contractors to ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
Training & Development
Identify training needs across departments.
Organize behavioural, compliance, safety, and skill development programmes.
Maintain training records and evaluate training effectiveness.
Performance & Administration
Support performance appraisal activities.
Maintain HR MIS, employee database, and monthly HR reports.
Coordinate employee engagement activities and welfare initiatives.
Perform other HR and administrative responsibilities assigned by Management.
Candidate ProfileEducation
Personnel Management, Industrial Relations, or equivalent.
Candidates with specialized HR certifications will be preferred.
Experience
2–3 years of experience in Human Resource Management.
Experience in handling large manufacturing units is mandatory.
Prior experience in the Healthcare, Medical Device, Pharmaceutical, FMCG, or Manufacturing Industry will be an added advantage.
