Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Technician with a strong background in the glass manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance of production equipment used in glass manufacturing plants.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of mechanical equipment.
- Diagnose and rectify mechanical faults to minimize production downtime.
- Maintain and repair conveyors, gearboxes, pumps, compressors, bearings, motors, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Install, align, overhaul, and replace mechanical components as required.
- Ensure optimum performance of production machinery and utility equipment.
- Work closely with production and maintenance teams to improve equipment reliability.
- Follow safety procedures, maintenance schedules,



and TPM practices.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports.

Candidate Requirements

- Diploma / ITI / Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Mechanical Technician in the Glass Manufacturing Industry (Mandatory).
- Experience in Float Glass, Flat Glass, Container Glass, Architectural Glass, Tempered Glass, or Glass Processing plants.
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, rotating equipment, conveyors, gearboxes, pumps, compressors, and mechanical maintenance.
- Ability to read mechanical drawings and maintenance manuals.
- Indian candidates only.
- Valid passport or willingness to relocate to Egypt.
