Role & responsibilities
Lead and manage end-to-end Human Resource functions while ensuring alignment with organizational goals, workforce planning, and overall business growth.
- Handle manpower planning and recruitment activities including sourcing, screening, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and employee induction across multiple departments.
- Drive employee engagement, retention, and organizational culture initiatives to maintain a positive, productive, and employee-focused work workplace.
- Manage employee relations, grievance handling, conflict resolution, and workplace discipline while ensuring smooth coordination between employees and management.
- Oversee performance management processes including KPI/KRA tracking, appraisal cycles, employee evaluations, feedback systems, and succession planning initiatives.
- Coordinate training & development programs, leadership-building activities, and employee skill enhancement initiatives to improve workforce performance and productivity.
- Ensure smooth HR operations including policy implementation, HR compliance, attendance and leave management, documentation, HR reporting, and employee database management.
- Collaborate closely with management and department heads on strategic HR initiatives,
process improvements, organizational development, and long-term workforce planning.
Preferred candidate profile
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, BMS, BBA, MBA (HR), or a related field.
- 58+ years of experience in Human Resources, with at least 23 years in a managerial or leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of end-to-end HR functions including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, engagement, HR operations, and compliance.
- Experience in developing and implementing HR policies, SOPs, and organizational processes.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), HRMS, and HR reporting/MIS.
- Excellent communication skills in English, Hindi, and Marathi (preferred).
- Solid leadership, interpersonal, conflict resolution, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to collaborate with senior management, handle confidential information, and drive strategic HR initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in the NGO, social impact, or development sector will be an added advantage.
