About The Role The Workday HR Systems Analyst at Tech Data plays a vital role in maintaining and optimizing the Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) platform and related HR systems. This position is responsible for ensuring data integrity, system efficiency, and a positive user experience across the organization. The analyst supports system enhancements, conducts testing, and performs audits to uphold data accuracy and compliance.

Additionally, the role involves providing day-to-day support to global users, resolving Tier 1 inquiries, and escalating complex issues to appropriate teams. The analyst also contributes to system improvements by assisting with training, managing global requests, and supporting various projects aimed at enhancing HR system functionality and efficiency.

Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess 1-3 years of experience working with Workday or other Human Capital Management (HCM) systems. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for effective collaboration across global teams. A keen eye for detail and a focus on data accuracy are critical attributes.

Basic understanding of HR processes and data flows, coupled with the ability to quickly learn new systems, will enable success in this role.



The candidate should demonstrate excellent organizational and time management skills, an analytical mindset capable of interpreting data, and a customer-focused approach with a strong service orientation. Proficiency in intermediate Excel skills is required, and familiarity with system integration, data extracts, and report creation will be advantageous.

Adaptability in a fast-paced, evolving setting is also essential.

Responsibilities The Workday HR Systems Analyst will be responsible for a variety of duties, including: Providing timely triage, resolution, or escalation of global tickets and mailbox requests related to HR systems.

Maintaining HR systems through data fixes, mass updates, and routine system administration tasks.

Conducting weekly, monthly, and quarterly audits to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance.

Supporting testing of system enhancements, updates, and new functionalities to ensure seamless implementation.

Collaborating with IT to resolve interface and integration issues, ensuring smooth data flow between systems.

Executing system updates such as cost centers, organizational structures, locations, and reporting hierarchies.

Preparing, analyzing, and validating reports to provide meaningful insights and support decision-making.

Supporting HR and Payroll audits, including compensation adjustments and job changes, to ensure data integrity.

Delivering basic user training sessions and creating support documentation to enhance user understanding and system adoption.

Creating and maintaining reports, including ad hoc reports,



to meet various business needs.

Maintaining foundational Workday knowledge, including business processes, data extraction, EIB uploads, and issue resolution.

Participating in process improvement initiatives and system clean-up activities to optimize HR system performance.

Engaging in projects aimed at enhancing the overall effectiveness and functionality of HR systems.
