The HR Assistant Manager will support plant HR operations, focusing on manpower planning, statutory compliance, employee relations, and smooth workforce management. The role involves handling both white-collar and blue-collar workforces in a factory environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Recruitment & Workforce Planning
- Recruitment Management hiring for plant roles (Blue Collar)
- Coordinate with department heads for manpower requirements
- Handle bulk hiring and onboarding
2. Statutory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with labor laws (PF, ESI, Bonus, Gratuity, Factory Act)
- Maintain statutory registers and records
- Coordinate inspections (labor officer, factory inspector)
- Handle audits and documentation
3. Employee & Industrial Relations
- Handle shop-floor employee grievances
- Maintain discipline and implement company policies
- Drive employee engagement activities for workers
4. HR Operations
- Manage attendance, shift rosters, and leave records
- Oversee onboarding and exit formalities
- Maintain employee files and documentation
5. Payroll Coordination
- Work closely with the payroll team for wage processing
- Verify attendance, overtime
- Ensure statutory deductions compliance
6. Training & Development
- Identify training needs for workers and staff
- Conduct induction programs for new hires
- Support safety and skill development training
7. Health, Safety & Welfare
- Support the implementation of safety policies
- Coordinate health check-ups and welfare activities
- Ensure compliance with EHS standards
Required Skills:
- Robust knowledge of labor laws & factory compliance

Desired Candidate Profile
- Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 5-10 years of experience in Human Resources or related field.
- Strong understanding of HR operations, including recruitment management, payroll processing, attendance management, grievance handling & redressal.
- Proficiency in Labour Laws & Statutory Compliance; ability to stay updated on regulatory changes.
