Position

Housekeeping Supervisor

Shift

- Rotational Shifts
- Duty as per hospital roster
- Weekly Off as per hospital policy

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise housekeeping staff across wards, ICU, OT, OPD, diagnostics, and common areas.
- Ensure high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and infection control throughout the hospital.
- Allocate daily duties and monitor staff attendance and performance.
- Conduct routine inspections of patient rooms, washrooms, corridors, and public areas.
- Ensure timely cleaning of patient discharge rooms and emergency spill management.
- Maintain housekeeping supplies, linen movement, and cleaning equipment.
- Coordinate with Nursing, Maintenance, Biomedical Waste, and Infection Control teams.
- Train housekeeping staff on cleaning protocols, PPE usage, and hospital safety standards.
- Prepare daily reports and immediately escalate any operational issues.

Eligibility

- Graduate or Higher Secondary (12th Pass); Diploma in Hotel/Hospital Housekeeping is preferred.




- Minimum 2–5 years of experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor, preferably in a hospital or healthcare facility.
- Knowledge of NABH standards, infection control, and biomedical waste segregation will be an added advantage.
- Basic computer knowledge is desirable.
