Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru for a Housekeeping Manager.
The Housekeeping
Manager oversees daily cleaning operations across common areas and apartments, ensuring high standards of hygiene, safety, and presentation.
Responsibilities include planning and assigning housekeeping schedules, supervising housekeeping staff, monitoring inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, and coordinating with maintenance and property management teams for timely issue resolution. The role also involves training team members on cleaning protocols and safety procedures, conducting regular inspections, managing vendors where required, and maintaining records and reports related to housekeeping performance and costs.
The Housekeeping
Manager is expected to support resident satisfaction by responding to housekeeping-related requests and implementing continuous improvements in cleaning processes.
Qualifications
- Experience in housekeeping management or supervision in residential, hospitality, or facility management environments.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, including scheduling, task prioritization, and attention to detail.
- Ability to lead, train, and motivate housekeeping staff, with a focus on teamwork, accountability, and safety.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, hygiene standards, and protected handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with internal teams, vendors, and residents.
- Comfort with basic reporting, inventory tracking, and use of digital tools or property management systems.
- Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru South and manage operations across multiple floors or buildings as needed.
- Relevant diploma or degree in hospitality, facility management, or a related field is preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
- Prior experience in large-scale housing, co-living, or hospitality operations in urban settings is an advantage.
