Key Responsibilities - Hostel Warden

- Supervise the daily operations of the hostel and ensure smooth hostel administration.

- Ensure the safety, security, and well-being of all residents.

- Enforce hostel rules, regulations, attendance, curfew timings, and disciplinary procedures.

- Maintain accurate records of hostel occupancy, admissions, room allotments, attendance, leave permissions, and visitor registers.

- Handle student grievances, personal issues, and emergency situations with maturity and confidentiality.

- Coordinate with college administration, parents/guardians, security personnel, housekeeping, maintenance, and medical services.

- Conduct regular inspections of hostel rooms, common areas, dining facilities, and sanitation standards.

- Monitor housekeeping, cleanliness, hygiene, water supply, electricity, and maintenance requirements.

- Organize hostel meetings, awareness sessions, and student engagement activities.

- Ensure compliance with safety norms, fire safety procedures, and emergency preparedness protocols.

- Prepare reports related to hostel operations, incidents, maintenance, and student welfare.

- Be available on campus for emergency situations and provide residential support when required.





Eligibility Criteria

- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline

- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in hostel administration, educational institutions, residential facilities, or student welfare.

- Experience as a Hostel Warden or in a similar residential supervisory role is preferred.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

- Ability to counsel and guide students with empathy and professionalism.

- Good administrative and record-keeping abilities.

- Leadership and conflict-resolution skills.

- Ability to handle emergencies calmly and make timely decisions.

- Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, email, record management).

- High level of integrity, discipline, and confidentiality.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Willingness to stay on campus / residential accommodation preferred.

- Familiarity with college hostel operations and student management.

- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays when required.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
