ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a passionate and research-driven Historian & Heritage Research Specialist to lead historical research, content validation, and narrative development for museums, exhibitions, heritage projects, memorials, experience centres, and immersive visitor experiences.

This is a Full-Time In office position based in Gurgaon, Haryana, India .

The selected candidate must be ready to join within 15 days.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Conduct in-depth historical, cultural, archaeological, and archival research.
2. Validate historical facts, timelines, artefacts, personalities, and cultural references.
3. Develop historical narratives, chronologies, interpretive content, and visitor learning journeys.
4. Collaborate with Scriptwriters and Creative Directors to transform research into immersive experiences.

REQUIREMENTS

1. Strong knowledge of Indian and World History, archaeology, heritage, art, culture, and civilisation.
2.



Master's degree or Ph.D. in History, Archaeology, Heritage Studies, Museum Studies, Ancient Indian History, or Art History.
3. 5–10 years of professional experience in historical research, museum research, heritage interpretation, or archaeology.

Compensation is Up to ₹12 LPA based on role fit, experience, skills, interview performance, and current compensation structure. You will work with creative teams on high-impact museum and exhibition projects that bring history to life.
