Role Purpose:

The Production Planning & Control (PPC) Executive is responsible for planning, scheduling, and monitoring the production of Finished Goods (FG) and Semi-Finished Goods (SFG) to ensure timely fulfillment of customer orders and forecasted demand. The role focuses on maintaining optimum inventory levels, ensuring efficient resource utilization, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to achieve production and delivery targets.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on sales orders and demand forecasts.
- Schedule production of FG & SFG to meet customer delivery timelines.
- Ensure optimum inventory levels of raw materials, WIP, FG, and metal stock at month-end.
- Coordinate with Procurement, Production, Sales, and Warehouse teams for smooth production execution.
- Monitor production progress and revise schedules to address changes in demand or capacity.
- Perform demand planning and forecast analysis to optimize production efficiency.
- Execute Material Requirement Planning (MRP) to ensure timely material availability.
- Participate in the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP;) process for demand-supply alignment.




- Analyze production data and prepare planning reports, KPIs, and MIS.
- Identify production bottlenecks and recommend process improvements.
- Ensure effective utilization of ERP systems for production planning and inventory management.
- Maintain production planning documentation and ensure adherence to company policies.

Educational Qualification:

- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Production Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.

Experience: 3-8 years of experience in Production Planning & Control, Supply Chain Management, or Manufacturing Planning within a manufacturing organization.
