Senior Delivery Role | 10+ Years Experience

About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Scrum Master with a strong background in payments and 10+ years of proven project management expertise to lead Agile delivery across our payment platform teams. You will facilitate Scrum ceremonies, remove impediments, and drive continuous improvement while leveraging deep domain knowledge of payment systems and a track record of managing complex, cross-functional initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

- Facilitate all Scrum events (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives) for one or more delivery teams.
- Coach teams on Agile principles, Scrum practices, and self-organization to maximize delivery value.
- Identify, track, and remove impediments to keep the team focused and productive.
- Manage project plans, timelines, dependencies, budgets, and risks for payment-related initiatives.
- Collaborate with Product Owners to maintain a healthy, prioritized backlog and clear sprint goals.
- Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders across engineering, product, compliance, and operations.
- Ensure delivery aligns with payment industry standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., PCI-DSS, PSD2, card scheme rules).
- Track and report on team metrics (velocity, burndown, throughput)



and project KPIs to leadership.
- Drive risk management, issue resolution, and escalation across the delivery lifecycle.
- Mentor junior Scrum Masters and Project Managers, and champion continuous improvement across teams.

Required Qualifications

- 10+ years of combined experience as a Scrum Master and/or Project Manager.
- Demonstrable experience delivering projects within the payments domain (card processing, digital wallets, gateways, acquiring/issuing, real-time payments, etc.).
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum frameworks and traditional project management methodologies.
- Proven ability to manage budgets, timelines, dependencies, and stakeholders on large, complex programs.
- Excellent facilitation, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in a regulated environment.

Preferred Qualifications

- Certified Scrum Master (CSM, PSM) and/or project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2).
- Knowledge of payment regulations and standards
- Experience with Protected or scaled Agile environments.
- Familiarity with delivery tools such as Jira, Confluence, and MS Project.
- Background in fintech, banking, or financial services.
