Key Responsibilities

1. Quality Assurance & Control

- Implement and monitor QA/QC procedures at project sites
- Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and IS codes
- Develop and follow Quality Assurance Plan (QAP) and Inspection Test Plans (ITP)

2. Site Inspection & Execution Monitoring

- Conduct stage-wise inspections (RCC, reinforcement, formwork, finishing works)
- Monitor concreting activities including slump test, cube test, curing process
- Ensure quality in masonry, plastering, waterproofing, and finishing works

3. Material Quality Control

- Verify material approvals, test certificates, and lab reports
- Ensure all materials meet project specifications before usage
- Coordinate for third-party testing if required

4. Documentation & Reporting

- Maintain QA/QC documents: checklists, inspection reports, NCRs
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly quality reports
- Maintain records for audits and project handover

5. Non-Conformance & Corrective Actions

- Raise NCR (Non-Conformance Reports)

- Ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented
- Track closure of quality issues

6. Coordination & Communication

- Liaise with site engineers, contractors, consultants, and clients
- Participate in project meetings for quality discussions
- Provide training to site team on quality standards

Key Skills Required

- Robust knowledge of construction practices & IS codes
- Experience in QA/QC documentation (ITP, QAP, NCR)
- Knowledge of concrete testing & site inspections
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Communication & coordination skills

Qualification

- B.E / B.Tech/ Diploma in Civil Engineering

Preferred Experience

- Experience in residential / commercial / high-rise projects
- Exposure to ISO standards and quality systems
- Hands-on site experience in QA/QC activities
