What you can look forward to as Mechanical Designer-Hydraulics (m/f/d):
- Lead design and development of brake system products (HBV, FBV, Relay Valve, ALSV, TCV, RAVP, ABS,EBS,ESC and mBSP system devices etc.).
- Perform Engineering design calculations to ensure robust product design
- Drive Innovation and create detailed 3D CAD models, drawings, tolerance stacks, and engineering specifications.
- Conduct DFMEA, DVPR, design reviews, and own technical deliverables including Quality, Cost Delivery from concept to launch
- Work closely with global engineering teams across regions and ensure designs meet performance, durability, safety, NVH, and regulatory requirements.
- Lead technical problem solving, root cause analysis,
and contribute to Design to Cost (DtC) and Productivity
Your profile as Mechanical Designer - Hydraulics (m/f/d):
- 35 years of experience in product design and development, preferably in Hydraulics or related automotive components.
- Experience working with OEM or Tier 1 supplier environments is desirable.
- Strong understanding of brake system architecture, product fundamentals and component functions.
- Expertise in Product Design including DFMEA, Tolerance analysis and GDT
- Knowledge of materials, machining, casting, forging, and other manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge in CAE methodologies and ability to interpret simulation results.
- Experience with DVPR and problem-solving tools like DMAIC.
- Experience in Product life cycle management tools and change management.
- Exposure to advanced braking technologies (ABS, EBS, ESC, ADAS etc.).
