AWS Technical Lead Software Engineering

To qualify for the role, you must have

Excellent academic background, including at a minimum a bachelor/masters degree in, Engineering, Computer Science, or other related field with robust quantitative focus.

- 5+ years of working experience with particular focus on the following:

Cloud & Platform Expertise

- Strong hands-on experience with:
- AWS (EKS, ECS, Lambda, Step Functions)
- Azure Functions

- Solid understanding of cloud-native architecture principles

Programming

- Proficiency in:
- Python
- Node.js

- Experience with:

- Kafka
- Kafka alternatives (e.g., AWS EventBridge, SNS/SQS, Azure Event Hub, RabbitMQ, etc.)
- Strong understanding of asynchronous communication patterns in distributed ecosystem

Containers & Orchestration





- Hands-on experience with:
- Docker
- Kubernetes (EKS/AKS)

Good to have

- Experience with microservices architecture
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (practical exposure, not purely DevOps-focused)
- Knowledge of observability tools (monitoring, logging, tracing)
- Understanding of security best practices in cloud applications

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Implement event-driven systems using Kafka and related messaging/event streaming technologies
- Build and manage microservices using containers (Docker) and orchestration platforms
- Develop serverless applications using:
- AWS Lambda, Step Functions
- Node JS /Python

- Work with container platforms:

- AWS EKS / ECS
- Azure Functions

- Ensure high performance, scalability, and reliability through optimization, monitoring, and tuning
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues
