Role & responsibilities

- Design and develop scalable, secure, and highly available backend systems using Go or Python.
- Lead the architecture and implementation of distributed systems and microservices.
- Design low-latency, high-throughput APIs capable of handling large-scale workloads.
- Build backend services that integrate AI/ML models, LLMs, and intelligent automation capabilities.
- Collaborate with Data Science and AI teams to deploy, optimize, and monitor ML models in production.
- Drive architectural decisions, conduct design reviews, and establish engineering best practices.
- Optimize system performance, reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency.
- Design event-driven architectures using messaging and streaming platforms.
- Implement robust security, authentication, authorization, and data protection mechanisms.
- Mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and provide technical leadership.
- Work closely with Product, DevOps, and QA teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Participate in capacity planning, incident management, and production support.

Preferred candidate profile

- 5+ years of backend software development experience.




- Strong proficiency in Go or Python.
- Deep understanding of distributed systems, concurrency, multithreading, and asynchronous programming.
- Hands-on experience with microservices architecture and REST/gRPC API development.
- Strong knowledge of software design principles, design patterns, and system architecture.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Expertise in containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Robust experience with SQL and NoSQL databases including PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, or Cassandra.
- Experience with caching, load balancing, API gateways, and reverse proxies.
- Hands-on experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or AWS SQS.
- Experience integrating AI/ML solutions using TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face, OpenAI APIs, or similar frameworks.
- Understanding of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), embeddings, vector databases, and LLM application architecture.
- Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
