ABOUT THE ROLE

Arcline Geomatics Solutions processes laser-scan survey data captured in the UK into accurate 3D building models. As a Scan-to-BIM Modeller you will take registered point clouds and build Revit models to UK BIM standards typically LOD 300 covering architectural, structural and building-services elements. This is detailed, accuracy-driven work as part of a growing processing team, reporting to our Scan-to-BIM Lead, who checks and guides your output.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

- Build Revit models from point cloud data (Scan-to-BIM) — architecture, structure and services — to the required level of detail.
- Work to UK BIM standards and project specifications, keeping models clean, accurate and true to the scan.
- Use the point cloud as your source of truth and reference against it throughout the model.
- Produce associated 2D outputs — plans, sections and elevations — in Revit / DWG where required.
- Follow the QA process and act on feedback from the Scan-to-BIM Lead.




- Keep to agreed timescales and flag issues early rather than late.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

- 2+ years' hands-on Revit experience, ideally including Scan-to-BIM / point-cloud modelling.
- Solid understanding of building elements — architectural, structural and MEP.
- Comfortable working from point cloud data (Trimble RealWorks, Autodesk ReCap or similar a plus).
- Accurate and detail-focused — able to work to a defined standard, not "close enough".
- Valuable written English for coordination with the UK team.
- Able to take direction and feedback, and keen to grow with the team.

NICE TO HAVE

- Exposure to Navisworks, Civil 3D or AutoCAD.
- Experience delivering to UK or international BIM standards.
- Interest in developing toward a team-lead role as the team grows.

HOW THIS ROLE GROWS

We are building a processing team in pods over the next year. Strong modellers will be first in line to become team leads — running a small pod and doing first-pass checks — as we scale. We would rather promote from within than always hire in.
