Job Title: Senior Java Backend Developer (8+ Years)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Backend Developer with 8+ years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, high-performance backend applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, cloud technologies, and database design. The candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, reliable, and scalable enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Develop and implement Microservices-based architectures.
- Design, build, and consume RESTful APIs.
- Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code following coding standards and best practices.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Collaborate with product managers, architects, QA engineers, and DevOps teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Perform code reviews and mentor junior developers.
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement effective solutions.
- Develop unit and integration tests to ensure application quality.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.

Required Skills

- 8+ years of experience in Java backend development.
- Strong proficiency in Java 8/11/17.
- Extensive experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, and Spring Security.
- Strong knowledge of Microservices architecture.
- Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs.




- Hands-on experience with Hibernate/JPA.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP), design patterns, and SOLID principles.
- Experience with Apache Kafka or other messaging systems.
- Experience with relational databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
- Valuable knowledge of SQL, query optimization, and database design.
- Familiarity with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or Cassandra is a plus.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
- Experience using Git for version control.
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Strong understanding of authentication and authorization mechanisms, including OAuth2 and JWT.
- Experience with application monitoring and logging tools such as Splunk, ELK, Grafana, or Prometheus.
- Knowledge of Maven or Gradle build tools.

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience with event-driven architecture.
- Knowledge of Redis or other caching technologies.
- Familiarity with performance tuning and JVM optimization.
- Experience working in enterprise-scale distributed systems.
