The PGT English Teacher is responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in Cambridge IGCSE and AS & A Level English Language and English Literature. The teacher will inspire students to develop advanced communication, analytical, critical thinking, and academic writing skills while preparing them for Cambridge international examinations.

Salary - 12LPA and no bar for deserving candidates

Key Responsibilities

- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the Cambridge IGCSE and AS & A Level curriculum.
- Teach English Language and/or English Literature to secondary and senior secondary students.
- Develop students' reading, writing, speaking, listening, and literary analysis skills.
- Prepare students for Cambridge assessments, coursework, and final examinations.
- Design lesson plans, assignments, projects, and mock examinations based on Cambridge assessment objectives.
- Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback to support continuous improvement.
- Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs and abilities.




- Integrate technology and innovative teaching strategies into classroom instruction.

Qualifications

- Master's Degree in English/English Literature (Mandatory).
- B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Cambridge International (IGCSE/AS & A Level) training or certification is desirable.
- Excellent command of spoken and written English.

Experience

- Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in Cambridge IGCSE and/or AS & A Level English.
- Experience teaching English Language and English Literature in an international school is preferred.
- Proven record of preparing students for Cambridge examinations with robust academic outcomes.
