Job Role

Responsible for ensuring reliable, efficient, and sustainable operations of all utility systems including DM Plant, RO Plant, ETP, STP and Chemistry Lab. The role involves overseeing operations, ensuring statutory and environmental compliance, horticulture and landscaping, supervising technical teams, and driving cost optimization and efficiency improvements. The incumbent will play a key role in safeguarding uninterrupted plant operations while aligning with safety, environmental, and organizational standards.

Role & responsibilities

- Ensure smooth and uninterrupted operation of DM Plant, ETP, STP, RO plant Chemistry Lab and other utility systems.
- Monitor performance of utility systems and process parameters, initiating corrective actions in case of deviations.
- Ensure adherence to environmental regulations, statutory norms, and pollution control requirements for ETP/ STP operations, Sox NOX, Particulate Matter.
- Maintain statutory records, logbooks, and internal documentation for audits and inspections.
- Implement safety protocols,



permit-to-work systems, and best practices to achieve zero incidents in utility operations.
- Lead and supervise a team of utility technicians and maintenance personnel for efficient operations.
- Maintain records of energy consumption, water balance, and chemical usage for process optimization.
- Propose and implement cost-saving measures, energy efficiency projects, and technological improvements.
- Lead horticulture and landscaping for plant and township

Functional Competencies

Preferred candidate profile B.Sc / M.Sc / B.E. Chemistry graduate with 15+ years of experience in Thermal Power Plant (600MW & above) in operations & Maintenance, WTP and process utilities in power or process industries.

Should be proficient in statutory compliance, safety systems and environmental norms.
