Role & responsibilities

- Lead the development, implementation, and governance of project controls systems across all projects to ensure schedule, cost, and performance objectives are achieved.

- Oversee project planning and scheduling activities, ensuring robust baseline schedules and timely progress tracking.

- Drive project cost control, budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance monitoring to maximize project profitability.

- Establish and monitor project KPIs, earned value metrics, and executive dashboards for effective performance management.

- Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize schedule delays and cost overruns.

- Provide timely and accurate project reporting to senior management, enabling informed decision-making.

- Lead contract, change management, claims, and extension of time (EOT) assessments from a project controls perspective.





- Collaborate with project managers and functional teams to optimize resource planning and utilization across projects.

- Standardize project controls processes, methodologies, and reporting frameworks across the organization.

- Lead, mentor, and develop the project controls team while driving a culture of project execution excellence and continuous improvement.

Preferred candidate profile

- 15-20+ years of experience in Project Controls, Planning, Cost Control, and Project Management within Oil & Gas, EPC, Energy, or Industrial Projects.

- Minimum 8-10 years in a leadership role managing large and complex projects.

- Proven experience handling multi-project portfolios with significant CAPEX values.

- Experience in refinery, petrochemical, offshore, pipeline, LNG, fertilizer, or industrial projects will be preferred.
