About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented professional to lead the Lean Manufacturing and ISO Management System initiatives across multiple manufacturing units. The role will be responsible for driving operational excellence, process standardization, continuous improvement, and compliance with international management system standards while fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Lean Manufacturing & Operational Excellence

- Develop and implement Lean Manufacturing strategies across all manufacturing locations.
- Drive Kaizen, 5S, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), TPM, SMED, Poka-Yoke, Visual Management, and Waste Elimination initiatives.
- Identify improvement opportunities to enhance productivity, quality, cost, delivery, and safety.
- Monitor Lean KPIs and ensure measurable improvements in operational performance.
- Facilitate cross-functional improvement projects and track implementation effectiveness.
- Build a culture of continuous improvement through employee engagement and structured problem-solving.

ISO Management Systems
- Lead implementation, maintenance, and continual improvement of ISO Management Systems.
- Ensure compliance with applicable ISO standards such as:
- ISO 9001 Quality Management System
- ISO 14001 Environmental Management System
- ISO 45001 Occupational Health & Safety Management System
- ISO 50001 – Energy Management System (preferred)
- Coordinate internal and external audits.
- Drive closure of audit observations and corrective/preventive actions.
- Maintain documentation, SOPs, process maps, and quality records.

Process Improvement
- Standardize business processes across manufacturing units.
- Conduct process capability studies and identify improvement opportunities.
- Facilitate Root Cause Analysis using tools such as 5 Why, Fishbone Diagram, Pareto Analysis, and FMEA.
- Implement best practices and benchmark operational performance.





Training & Capability Building
- Conduct Lean and ISO awareness programs for employees at all levels.
- Mentor plant teams on continuous improvement methodologies.
- Develop internal Lean champions and audit teams.

Governance & Reporting
- Review operational excellence metrics and present performance reports to senior management.
- Drive monthly reviews on Lean projects, audit findings, and improvement initiatives.
- Ensure timely reporting of project milestones and business impact.

Desired Candidate Profile

Educational Qualification

- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Production, Industrial, Textile, Chemical, or equivalent).
- MBA / PGDM preferred.

Certifications (Preferred)
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt / Black Belt
- Lead Auditor – ISO 9001
- Internal Auditor certifications for ISO Management Systems
- TPM / Operational Excellence certifications

Experience
- 10–18 years of experience in Lean Manufacturing, Operational Excellence, and ISO Management Systems.
- Experience in handling multiple manufacturing plants is highly preferred.
- Prior experience in textile, polymer, chemicals, engineering, or process manufacturing industries will be an advantage.
