Gracelands has been building plotted-land townships since 1995 — 50+ delivered projects, ~280 acres developed, and a community of 9,000+ plot-owner families across Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra. Every project goes to market only after RERA registration, with clean title, sanctioned layouts and a finance function built on Tally-integrated daily reconciliation.

We're now looking for a Head of Accounts to own and lead that function as we scale.

This is not a back-office bookkeeping seat. Our finance operation runs a high volume of customer collections across thousands of active accounts, a multi-tier sales-commission structure, vendor and construction payouts across multiple sites, bank and HFC loan relationships, and RERA-compliant reporting, increasingly powered by our in-house CRM and accounting systems. We want someone who can bring order, controls and clarity to all of it.

What you'll own

- Full-cycle accounting & close across our group entities in Tally Prime — GL, monthly/quarterly closes, and audit-ready books
- Collections & receivables at scale — receipt recording, ledger reconciliation, demand-vs-realized tracking, and driving collection efficiency across a large, active customer base
- Sales commission & payouts — running our multi-tier commission workflow (advisors, team leaders, directors) with defined caps and approvals, and simplifying a process that today involves many stakeholders
- Vendor, construction & loan payments — managing the payment calendar, vendor master (GST/PAN/bank verification), EMI/loan schedules and cancellation refunds
- Statutory & regulatory compliance — GST, TDS, income tax,



and RERA-linked account and reporting requirements
- Banking & funding — bank/HFC relationships, plot-loan file readiness and empanelment, and lender reporting
- MIS & management reporting — timely, accurate financial reporting and analysis for leadership and stakeholders
- Controls & systems — strengthening internal controls and partnering with our tech team to embed finance workflows into our CRM/PWA (collections, receipts, pricing/discount integrity, commission)
- Team leadership — building and mentoring the accounts team

What we're looking for
- Qualified CA preferred ; strong CA-Inter / MBA (Finance) / M.Com candidates with the right depth are welcome
- 5+ years in accounting/finance, with time spent leading a team
- Real-estate / plotted-development experience is a strong plus (RERA, registry-based revenue recognition, customer collections, project-wise accounting)
- Deep, hands-on Tally Prime expertise; multi-entity accounting exposure valued
- Solid command of GST, TDS and income-tax compliance
- Comfortable with systems and data — spreadsheets, dashboards, and working alongside a tech-enabled finance stack
- Sharp on internal controls, reconciliation discipline and accuracy
- Based in or willing to relocate to Indore
