Role Purpose To lead the organizations new business development initiatives across Automotive and Non-Automotive segments, drive strategic customer acquisition, and expand market presence. The role will focus on identifying growth opportunities, developing strong customer relationships, securing new programs, and supporting long-term revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development Strategy
- Develop and implement strategies to expand new business across automotive and non-automotive segments.
- Identify emerging market opportunities and new application areas for company products.
- Develop strategic plans for customer acquisition and market penetration.
Customer Acquisition
- Identify potential customers and convert opportunities into long-term business.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, and industrial customers.
- Lead negotiations and finalize commercial agreements with new customers.
RFQ & Proposal Management
- Review and coordinate responses to RFQs from potential customers.
- Work closely with engineering, costing, and manufacturing teams to prepare competitive proposals.
- Ensure timely submission and follow-up on quotations and technical proposals.
Cross Functional Coordination
- Coordinate with product development, production, and supply chain teams for new product introduction.
- Support smooth transition from development stage to commercial production.
Customer Relationship Management
- Represent the company in customer meetings and industry forums.
- Maintain strong engagement with key stakeholders in customer organizations.
Team Leadership
- Guide and mentor the business development and sales teams.
- Establish targets and monitor performance against business goals.
