About the Role
We are looking for a Head People, Culture & HR to build and lead our People function.
This is not a traditional HR role focused only on payroll, recruitment, or compliance. We are looking for someone who can build a high-performance culture, strengthen leadership capability, create an outstanding employee experience, and establish scalable people systems that enable business growth.
Reporting directly to the Executive Director, you will work closely with the leadership team to shape the future of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
Culture & Employee Experience
- Build a robust performance-driven and values-based culture across the organization.
- Conduct regular employee connect sessions across all levels, from shop floor to senior management.
- Create structured feedback mechanisms to proactively identify employee concerns and opportunities.
- Drive employee engagement initiatives that improve morale, collaboration, and retention.
- Build trust between employees and management through transparent communication.
- Champion initiatives that make Montex an employer of choice.
Strategic Business Partner
- Partner closely with senior leadership on organizational strategy and people initiatives.
- Coach managers on leadership, communication, feedback, and people management.
- Develop future leaders through succession planning and leadership development programs.
- Support organizational restructuring and change management initiatives.
Performance & Talent Management
- Design and implement a robust performance management system.
- Drive goal setting, periodic reviews, and continuous feedback processes.
- Build a culture of accountability, ownership, and meritocracy.
- Develop succession plans for key roles.
- Strengthen talent identification and career development programs.
Employee Benefits & Rewards
- Review and redesign employee benefits to remain competitive and meaningful.
- Benchmark compensation and benefits against industry standards.
- Strengthen insurance, wellness, recognition, and employee welfare programs.
- Recommend reward and recognition initiatives that reinforce company values and performance.
HR Systems & Policies
- Build scalable HR processes, policies, and standard operating procedures.
- Modernize HR systems through digitization and automation.
- Strengthen onboarding and induction programs.
- Improve employee lifecycle processes from hiring to exit.
Compliance & Governance
- Ensure compliance with all applicable labour laws and statutory requirements.
- Oversee PF, ESIC, gratuity, bonus, leave management, contract labour compliance, and statutory audits.
- Continuously review HR practices to ensure regulatory compliance and risk mitigation.
Talent Acquisition
- Build structured hiring processes that attract high-quality talent.
- Improve employer branding and candidate experience.
- Support hiring across technical, managerial, and leadership positions.
- Reduce hiring turnaround time while improving quality of hire.
Learning & Development
- Identify organizational capability gaps.
- Design technical, behavioural, and leadership development programs.
- Strengthen first-line managers and supervisors through structured learning initiatives.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
HR Analytics Develop dashboards and metrics to support data-driven decision making, including:
- Employee engagement
- Attrition
- Attendance
- Hiring effectiveness
- Training effectiveness
- Performance outcomes
- Productivity indicators
Present actionable insights and recommendations to the leadership team on a regular basis.

Who We're Looking For
Experience
- 1015 years of progressive HR experience.
- At least 35 years in a leadership role.
- Experience in manufacturing, engineering, automotive, industrial, chemicals, or similar sectors.
- Experience working in organizations with approximately 3001,500 employees.
- Proven experience in building or transforming HR functions.
- Strong knowledge of Indian labour laws and statutory compliance.
- Experience in employee relations and industrial relations.

Education
- MBA / PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent from a reputed institution.
- Additional qualifications in Labour Laws, Organizational Development, Coaching, or Leadership Development will be an advantage.
