Role & responsibilities

- Manage the complete lifecycle of IT assets, including laptops, desktops, peripherals, and software assets.

- Maintain accurate asset records in the Asset Management Database (AMDB/CMDB) and perform regular inventory reconciliation.

- Conduct Physical Asset Verification (PAV) and ensure inventory accuracy across all locations.

- Handle asset allocation, deallocation, deployment, transfers, refresh, and disposal activities.

- Coordinate hardware procurement, vendor management, warranty tracking, and Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) processes.

- Manage hardware replacement, lease returns, and technology refresh projects.

- Recover IT assets from exiting employees and ensure secure data wiping before redeployment or disposal.

- Prepare MIS reports, dashboards, and asset utilization reports using Excel or Power BI.

- Ensure compliance with IT asset management policies and support internal and external audits.

- Maintain hardware and software inventory, ensuring proper documentation and audit readiness.

- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including IT Support, Procurement, HR, and Finance, for asset-related activities

Preferred Candidate Profile

- 36 years of experience in IT Asset Management.

- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow ITAM or similar asset management tools.

- Solid understanding of hardware/software asset lifecycle processes.

- Experience in inventory audits, compliance, and vendor coordination.

- Exposure to SEZ/Customs compliance will be an added advantage.

- Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
