Role: Senior GST / Indirect Tax Expert

- Experience Level: Senior (5–8+ Years)

- Core Objective: Ensure total indirect tax compliance, lead tax reconciliations, and manage liaison with tax authorities. [1, 2]

Key Responsibilities

- Return Filing: Oversee accurate and timely filing of GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, and GSTR-9C.

- Reconciliation: Perform deep-dive purchase vs. sales reconciliations, matching books of accounts with GSTR-2B.

- Notice Handling: Manage, draft, and file formal responses to scrutiny notices, assessments, and audits from GST authorities.

- Process Optimization: Review vendor/customer invoices, purchase orders, and transaction chains for maximum input tax credit (ITC) claim.

- Advisory & Updates: Keep management informed of regulatory changes, amendments, and case laws impacting the business.

- Audit & Liaison:



Coordinate internal/external audits and assist tax consultants or statutory authorities during proceedings. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6]

Requirements & Skills

- Experience: Minimum 5 years of dedicated hands-on experience in GST and indirect taxation.

- Technical Tools: Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and ERP/accounting systems like SAP, Tally Prime, or Oracle.

- Domain Knowledge: In-depth understanding of GST law, reverse charge mechanism (RCM), e-invoicing, and export/LUT procedures.

Pay: ₹10,020.41 - ₹40,517.99 per month
