About Torque

Torque is a video production and content studio based in Mumbai. We build launch films, motion graphics, AI assisted video, performance marketing content, and brand owned content IPs for funded B2B, AI SaaS companies and some homegrown Indian brands.

We've worked with names like Swiggy, Cognizant, Cekura (YC), Naturals Ice Cream, Tata Motors, and Dolby, among others.

We're a small, founder led team, so you won't be fetching coffee. You'll sit inside the real growth engine and real client work from week one. If that sounds terrifying, good, that means you're paying attention.

What this role actually is

Two halves, roughly 50/50:

Half one:

You'll run the top of our outbound pipeline. Sending LinkedIn and email outreach, following up (a lot), and keeping the CRM honest.

Half two:

Once a project is live, you'll keep it moving. Tracking timelines, chasing inputs, sending updates, catching things before clients do, and making sure nothing quietly falls through the cracks while everyone's heads are down in production.

Responsibilities Sales outreach

- Send personalised LinkedIn connection requests and messages, plus cold email sequences, using our existing playbooks and messaging frameworks
- Run structured follow up. Most replies come from follow up 3, not follow up 1, so persistence is basically the job
- Log every touchpoint in our Notion CRM so pipeline data is accurate and usable
- Report weekly on outreach volume, reply rate, and calls booked, and flag what's working versus what's not

Project management

- Maintain project trackers in Notion: status, owners, deadlines, deliverables
- Chase internal and client inputs (scripts, assets, brand files, approvals)



so production is never sitting around waiting on someone
- Review completed edits against the brief before they go out. If an editor sends over a 10 second performance marketing cut, you're the one checking pacing, hooks, captions, and overall polish actually hit the bar, not just that the file exists
- Flag delivery risks early, not after the deadline has already sailed past

Client communication

- Send project status updates and manage day to day client threads over email and Slack
- Coordinate feedback rounds: collect, consolidate, and route comments to the right person
- Handle onboarding admin for new clients (kickoff docs, asset collection, timelines)

Who we're looking for

Required:

- Excellent English
- Naturally organised. You track things without being told to track them
- Enjoy talking to people
- Comfortable with follow up. This role involves a lot of politely nudging people who are ignoring you
- Good taste. You should be able to look at a video and tell within seconds if it feels off, even if you can't edit it yourself
- Available at least 30 hours a week

Nice to have:

- Prior experience with Notion, Apollo, Instantly, Lemlist, or any CRM/outreach tooling
- Interest in B2B SaaS, startups, or the creator/content economy
- Basic understanding of video production workflows
- Any past internship in sales, growth, or agency operations

We don't need: a marketing degree, prior agency experience, or a fancy portfolio. We care about clarity of thought and whether you actually follow through.
