Internship Description: Growth Content Executive
Focus Areas: Website Development • Content Quality Audit • SEO & Analytics
Location: Remote
Duration: 6 Months (Potential full-time opportunity based on performance, ownership, and contribution to product growth)
The Backstory (About Us)
ALwrity is an open-source, AI-powered marketing powerhouse. We build intelligent, automated workflows by combining advanced LLMs with modern digital architecture.
Because we move at Mach 5, things break, APIs get grumpy, and edge cases pop up. We are looking for someone sharp, relentless, and technically curious to jump into the chaos and make our systems bulletproof.
What This Role Actually Is
This is not a "write three posts a week and call it a day" internship.
As a Growth Content Executive, you will sit at the intersection of three areas that most content roles keep completely separate:
- Website Development: Improving the website and enhancing the end-user experience.
- Content Quality Auditing (Editorial Integrity): Ensuring AI-generated content provides real information gain and avoids generic fluff.
- Engagement & SEO Analytics (Data-Driven Distribution): Analyzing visibility metrics across Google and social platforms to refine distribution.
You will stress-test our platform's generation engines and testing applications, use them to publish real content, and analyze performance data to loop directly back into product development. The feedback loop is tight—and that’s the point. Your Mission (In Five Acts)
1. Test with Intent, Not Just Instinct: Put ALwrity's content applications through their paces. Identify UX friction, feature gaps, and content quality drops before our users do.
2. Triage & Validate Issues: Work through flagged bugs and feature requests using our GitHub tracker. Validate issue fixes, test workflows, and ensure the user experience is seamless.
3. Create Metric-Driven Content: Use our AI tools to produce, optimize, and publish content. You'll align your output against three core pillars: Content Quality (e.g., readability, unique perspective), Content Engagement Metrics (e.g., dwell time, hooks, click-throughs), and SEO Analytics (e.g., keyword optimization, CTR patterns, search intent).
4. Analyze What's Working:
Review performance data across our core pillars and translate it into actionable product observations. Build internal process documents and frameworks to scale your findings.
5. Propose Solutions, Don't Just Report Bugs: Go beyond listing errors. Propose meaningful UI/UX improvements, workflow enhancements, and content experiments that the development team can act on instantly.
The Person We Are Looking For
- Background: A candidate (Marketing, Digital Strategy, or Product Management) who is genuinely obsessed with AI, modern SEO, and digital creator ecosystems. The degree matters less than your disposition.
- Structured Thinker: When you find a problem, your instinct is to document it clearly before trying to fix it. You think in steps and data points, not "vibes."
- Platform Literate: You understand how digital search and social media algorithms work. You know what makes a good content hook, why dwell time matters, and how keywords impact visibility across both Google and social platforms.
- Low Ego, High Ownership: You don't wait to be assigned work that you can clearly see needs doing. You treat feedback as a product upgrade, not a personal critique.
Bonus Points If You...
- Have built or managed your own blog, newsletter, portfolio website, or personal LinkedIn brand.
- Have experience with analytics tools (Google Analytics, Google Search Console, or platform analytics dashboards).
- Enjoy breaking, testing, and exploring new AI technologies.
What You Gain (Real-World Operations)
- End-to-End AI Ops: Master the execution of AI-assisted content pipelines.
- Growth Marketing Data: Practical experience analyzing live content quality, engagement, and SEO loops.
- Product Thinking: Learn how user feedback loops translate directly into real-world software features.
- Startup Pace: Experience a high-velocity environment focused on rapid decisions, not endless slide decks.
- Work Experience Letter: Official recommendation and experience letter from an AI startup.
How to Apply:
The Challenge (Do this before your interview—we value explicit thinking over polished resumes.)
Before we talk, we want to see how you approach content quality and analytics:
1. Website Evaluation : Your submission should highlight both core strengths and concrete UX/performance bottlenecks of website – www.alwrity.com.
2. Define Your Content Metrics Framework: Pick an article from the website and tell us how you would evaluate or improve it using the three core pillars and your ‘Content Metrics Framework’ :
- Content Quality Metrics: How do you measure whether the AI-generated output is insightful, accurate, and valuable to the target audience?
- Content Engagement Metrics: What specific structural elements (hooks, spacing, visual depth, or comment hooks) will drive engagement and dwell time for this piece?
- SEO & Discovery Analytics: How should the website content be optimized so it indexes in top search results or triggers Google featured snippets?
Deliver Your Thoughts with Creatives : Create concrete mock-ups, wireframe suggestions, or quick A/B testing ideas (rather than generic advice) sharing your framework and observations. Tip- we use WIX platform for the website.
We don't want perfection; we want to see your curiosity, structure, and willingness to back up an opinion with logic. If your work stands out, we will reach out directly to schedule an interview, and then let's discuss it like teammates.
A Note on Culture & Compensation
We’re proudly open-source, which means our budget is lean and our pockets are pretty light. This role comes with a nominal monthly stipend to cover very basic expenses, but let’s be real: you aren't here for a big corporate paycheck.
We aren't offering a cushy office job or pay - we’re offering front-row access to production AI engineering.
Only apply if you are:
- ? Dangerously curious about AI & modern code pipelines.
- ?️ Ready to sweat, experiment, and break things (productively).
- ? Hungry to build a public GitHub portfolio that makes your resume untouchable.
If you want a comfortable, slow-paced routine, this isn't for you. But if you want to contribute to an open-source project and have serious web chops, welcome to your playground.
